《發(fā)展?jié)h語》（第三版）采用專項語言技能訓練與綜合語言能力培養(yǎng)相結(jié)合的第二語言教學及教材編寫模式。全套教材分為三個層級、六個系列，即縱向分為初、中、高三個層級，橫向分為綜合、口語、聽力、閱讀、寫作、初級讀寫六個系列，共28冊。其中，綜合系列為主干教材，口語、聽力、閱讀、寫作、初級讀寫系列為配套教材。

《發(fā)展?jié)h語 中級口語Ⅰ》旨在全方位提高漢語學習者的口語表達能力，特別是基于日常對話和話語語段的口語綜合表達能力。本教材共14課。課文內(nèi)容緊密聯(lián)系現(xiàn)實生活，如涉及生活常識、人生故事、調(diào)查問卷、辯論等，意在使學習者盡可能多地接觸各種各樣的語言材料。每課包括學習表達熱身課文課堂活動與任務課文鏈接我的收獲等環(huán)節(jié)�；顒禹摓榭谡Z測試、輸出展示或主題活動設(shè)計，以思維導圖為引導，培養(yǎng)學習者用漢語思考的習慣和思辨能力，提升其自主學習的意識和能力。活動頁中思維導圖的形式還可用于每課的學習和復習。
