		本書(shū)闡述從先秦到明清的中國(guó)古代詩(shī)道論及其發(fā)展歷史,認(rèn)為中國(guó)古代詩(shī)學(xué)由經(jīng)典詩(shī)學(xué)與文人詩(shī)學(xué)兩部分構(gòu)成。文人詩(shī)學(xué)是文人在具體的詩(shī)史中實(shí)踐經(jīng)典詩(shī)學(xué)的歷史。經(jīng)典詩(shī)學(xué)發(fā)生于古代政教體系中,但深刻地揭示了人類詩(shī)歌藝術(shù)的規(guī)律。言志是經(jīng)典詩(shī)學(xué)的核心概念,也是后來(lái)文人詩(shī)歌創(chuàng)作的基本崇尚。從文人詩(shī)歌史的具體實(shí)踐來(lái)看,中國(guó)古代抒情詩(shī)學(xué)的軸心在“吟詠情性”之說(shuō),其成就則主要體現(xiàn)在“變風(fēng)”“變雅”的創(chuàng)作上。中國(guó)古代在藝術(shù)上有獨(dú)特追求的詩(shī)人,總是在自覺(jué)的詩(shī)歌本體觀念下展開(kāi)其創(chuàng)作實(shí)踐的。中國(guó)古代詩(shī)人在言志、情性、性靈這樣幾種基本詩(shī)歌本體觀念的啟發(fā)與引導(dǎo)下,展開(kāi)了漫長(zhǎng)的詩(shī)道探索歷史。詩(shī)歌史即詩(shī)學(xué)史,中國(guó)古代詩(shī)學(xué)發(fā)展的基本形態(tài)是理論與實(shí)踐的緊密結(jié)合。

錢志熙,北京大學(xué)中文系教授,長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者特聘教授。北京大學(xué)古代文體研究中心主任,中文系古典學(xué)平臺(tái)負(fù)責(zé)人。中國(guó)李白研究會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng),中華詩(shī)詞學(xué)會(huì)副會(huì)長(zhǎng)。從事中國(guó)古代詩(shī)歌史及其相關(guān)文化背景的研究。出版《魏晉詩(shī)歌藝術(shù)原論》《唐前生命觀和文學(xué)生命主題》《漢魏樂(lè)府藝術(shù)研究》《陶淵明傳》《陶淵明經(jīng)緯》等專著十余種,發(fā)表論文二百余篇。
